In  a  writing  in  the  winter  2012  edition  of  “BEYOND  50  MAGAZINE”,  Kelowna,  BC.    Laura  Granda  comments  on  the  positive  impact  her  personal  peer  helper  experience  impacted  her  personal life.

While  staying  in  a  Seattle  hotel  after  a  family  wedding,  her  husband  had  A  HEART  ATTACK,  and  was  in  hospital  for  five  days.  He  did  not  recover  and  passed  away   in  2006.
